Modem probs need help desperatly
This is a discussion about Modem probs need help desperatly in the Windows Hardware category; hey all i hope someone can help me i have a USR 3com 56k Message modem external on com2 serial port speed is at 115200 same as modem modem drivers, i have tried 3 sources, win2k,3com win2k drivers,nt4 drivers of all that failed now the problem is, i can only get 300-400BYTES/s :*( i have formatted 26 ish times and ...

If Win2k is in ACPI mode set it to "Standard PC", also use standard modem (for standard AT commands) if there are no specific drivers.

i tried that too but it would always detect the usr one and install that
i have the drivers anyway for it, the real 2k ones! i dunno
