Monitor Probs
This is a discussion about Monitor Probs in the Windows Hardware category; I have a gateway laptop and the dang screen went black. It boots but then the screen goes black. Tried in safe mode and still black. I loaded XP on the other partition and it came right up. I know it's not the video card so what should I do?????Please Help I don't want to wast money or time.

Can you enter into your BIOS? Have you tried a repair install of XP on your OS partition?
