Hi,

I'm dual booting 98/XP & in 98se I can set the refresh rate to optimal, yet in XP the only options in Display properties are individual refresh values + defaults to 75hz. If I try to up the refresh rate then the display is re-sized?

My monitor is an Iiyama Pro451 which can do 160hz @ 1024x768 & 110hz @ 1280x1024 so how can I set XP to use the optimal refresh rates.

BTW I have dissabled vertical sync via NVmax

I have the exact same monitor that you do...but I have a voodoo3 3500 card.. My maximum rate is 100HZ all the time...that's weird... Hmm.. Anyone know how to fix this?

Upgrade your graphics card drivers. 7.xx - 14.xx of the nvidia driver series had this problem in W2k + XP. Assuming you have an nvidia card, upgrade to 21.83 drivers from the www.nvidia.com website.
