Monitor Resolution
This is a discussion about Monitor Resolution in the Customization Tweaking category; I can't seem to get my monitor above 1024x786 resloution. I have a Radeon 9000 Pro along with a Viewsonic monitor thats about a year and a half old. I could get higher resolutions using my old GeForce but can't do any better with this one.
I can't seem to get my monitor above 1024x786 resloution. I have a Radeon 9000 Pro along with a Viewsonic monitor thats about a year and a half old. I could get higher resolutions using my old GeForce but can't do any better with this one. I have tried the default drivers for my monitor and the latest. I also have the latest from ATI. Any suggestions?

uncheck the "hide unsupported" modes in display / advance area - see if that works....
You can try downloading the .inf file from your monitor manufacturer.

Well I can select them now...they just don't work. Guess i'm just sol.
