Morpheus, LimeWire 1.8, Gnotella 1.0.5
This is a discussion about Morpheus, LimeWire 1.8, Gnotella 1.0.5 in the Windows Software category; Anyone else having problems with these in XP. Getting runtime errors with Morpheus, LimeWire 1. 8 will not install (hangs with Java), and Gnotella will not function after install. . . any suggestions to make these function?.

Do you have the latest Java plug-in for XP?
It's 1.3.1 and it's at the Sun web site.

I can't speak regarding the other products, but Morpheus 1.3 and earlier do not work. Update your copy to 1.3.3, which was the latest last time I checked. This version works fine.
when u say does not work.. do u mean it wont load? coz i installed it but it wont connect... when i tried registering a new user.. i got the msg that server wasnt responding or if i had a firewall that was the problem.. i turned the firewall off and still i couldnt connect... will d/ling a new copy solve my problem?
