Mouse Middle button?

This is a discussion about Mouse Middle button? in the Customization Tweaking category; Hi, anybody know if there's any way to configure the middle button of the mouse? As the default mouse driver in XP doesn't provide options of configurating the mouse buttons. As I want to configure the middle mouse button to open windows explorer.

Hi, anybody know if there's any way to configure the middle button of the mouse? As the default mouse driver in XP doesn't provide options of configurating the mouse buttons. As I want to configure the middle mouse button to open windows explorer.
My mouse is Microsoft IntelliPoint Optical, and the driver download from MS homepage doesn't support XP.

Go ahead and install the intellipoint drivers, even though it says they won't work - last time I tried, they worked just fine...
