Mouseware - Input locking up
This is a discussion about Mouseware - Input locking up in the Windows Games category; I'm having problems with sticky-keys when using Mouseware in XP. I'm using a Logitech Mouseman Dual Optical, and when I press all the buttons at the same time when I'm gaming one of the buttons lock up, got to release it and activate it again to free it up.
I'm having problems with "sticky-keys" when using Mouseware in XP. I'm using a Logitech Mouseman Dual Optical, and when I press all the buttons at the same time when I'm gaming one of the buttons lock up, got to release it and activate it again to free it up. This is very annoying since I'm using all the three buttons when gaming.
I've tried version 9.0, 9.24 and 9.41 (the newest one, XP compatible), makes no difference. Also downloaded the critical update and DX 8.1.
Anyone who might know a solution to this?

The Logitech-Mouseware aren't well known for their stability - even Logitech-members avoid to use this drivers for gaming.
You should try
a) to go with the native-XP-drivers
to download the Intellipoint drivers from Microsoft (perhaps it will work with your mouse)
c) to return your mouse and get a Microsoft Mouse (Intelli-Mouse-Explorer 3.0) instead - there drivers are awesome for gaming and stable as hell!!!

OP
Yes, that is one option that has crossed my mind. But, I like the options Mouseware give me, and I'm used to the low acceleration mode etc (I don't think the "Enhance pointer precision" the MS software has gives the same feeling).
Thanks for the advice though
