MS Sidewinder Precsion 2...HELP!!

Okay, I picked it up today. I go to install it but when I plug it into the usb port Win2k tells me it needs the hidusb. sys file. I did a search on all the hard drives, the Sidewinder CD, the Win2k CD, and the Win98 CD.

Never mind...never trust the file searching in Windows. Cant find much without being slapped in the face with it.

Hi, try looking in your winnt\system32\driver folders, it may well be a hidden file so you need to unhide it before you search.

Thanx, I stuck in the Win2k cd and found it by luck. Thats the weirdest thing though...
