Hi all,

In Microsoft Word, I use page layout as my default working view, and there are 4 corners that are visible on the page. They are marking the active area of the page. I have tried everything I can think of to turn these off; in previous versions of Word I was able to have a completely blank "sheet of paper" to work on, no markings on it of any kind.

I have checked the border settings, margin settings, etc. but have had no luck figuring out what it is that turns these corners to invisible. I already checked Headers & footers, but no luck there either.

Does anyone know what I am describing and how to get a fully blank screen to work on with Word?

Thanks

P.S. If needed, I can take a screeshot and upload a picture someplace
