MSI K7T Pro 2-A and Win2K

I'm having a problem installing Win2K on a ATA33 hdd with the MSI K7T Pro 2-A m/b. During installation I get a BSOD 0x0. . 7B Inaccessible_Boot_Device stop error. After going through MS's KnowledgeBase, I realize that the problem may lie in the fact that all the IDE ports are ATA100 capable.

I'm having a problem installing Win2K on a ATA33 hdd with the MSI K7T Pro 2-A m/b. During installation I get a BSOD 0x0..7B Inaccessible_Boot_Device stop error. After going through MS's KnowledgeBase, I realize that the problem may lie in the fact that all the IDE ports are ATA100 capable. There isn't any non-ATA100 port (as on the A7V, which I used to install Win2K on my other computer) on this particular MSI board. I tried fiddling with the BIOS settings, but to no avail -- same BSOD and stop error. Frustrated, I took out the hdd and used my other computer to install Win2K (which installed without a hitch). Installing the hdd back into the original computer yielded the same BSOD result. I've updated the BIOS on the MSI board and installed the VIA(VT82C686B Southbridge chipset) ATA100 drivers (using my other computer), and still no-go. Anyone else with this MSI problem, or anyone who knows a fix? Thanks in advance.
