MSN Premium - Worth it?

My sister in law was offered a free upgrade by her ISP to MSN Premium (currently has MSN 8). Her kids could benefit from the online version of Encarta. Is the upgrade worthwhile, any known issues/bugs/concerns? Thanx!.

It all depeneds on where you live. If you are in the U.S. then no problem, some parts of Europe has this avialable already but it is mostly MSN8 and not 9/Premium/Plus.

This MSN Premium is nice becuase I have it and I like it. They do have some problems sometimes but it is mostly related to their Servers. My suggestion is to just get the Software Only option becuase you can keep your own ISP and if you have Broadband then you are all set to go but they have a feature built in it to use dial-up as well.

The Software Only cost $9.95 plus taxes a month, they also have a yearly price as well. Ther are also offering 2-3 months free when you sign up with MSN.

I was grandfathered in with the old 6.99 a month limited dial up account, cause my wife uses MSN and I used the dialup when traveling.

But I get the premium for 6.99 a month and really like it.
