Multiple Desktops
This is a discussion about Multiple Desktops in the Windows Software category; Ya know how Linux has that nice feature that allows you to switch between several desktops? Is there any 3rd party software out there that gives you that feature? Might MSOFT include this useful feature in Whistler? I know they have included that desktop icon on the quicklaunch bar.

Might MSOFT include this useful feature in Whistler? I know they have included that "desktop" icon on the quicklaunch bar.. and it is nice.. but it only swithes between the blank desktop and whatever you are working on. Just curious.

There are thrid party apps that do this. Most often they involve using a different shell, so look around places like www.litestep.com and www.darkstep.com

Control Center from Stardock will let you do that. www.stardock.net
