My dell dimension sound is not working.. need help
This is a discussion about My dell dimension sound is not working.. need help in the Windows Hardware category; I have just restored my dell 4600 with dell restore disk. . . Now I don’t have any sound. . . . under the device manger screen I have yellow question mark by PCI input. I also have yellow question marks by multimedia audio controller which is listed twice.

I just got the sound blater live driver loaded on there.. yeppy
But i still have one yellow question mart next to Multimedia audio controller and i still cant hear any sound..

Yea my sound works.. I just needed to plug it in a little more.... I just deleated the other Multimedia audio controller yellow question mark... was that the right thing to do.
