Naughty Cursor on The 7th Guest!
Hey all! Just recently snagged a new computer, so I dug up my Oldies but Goodies games and found The 7th Guest. I downloaded the patch, and finally was able to run the game; sound, visuals and all. Just recently snagged a new computer, so I dug up my "Oldies but Goodies" games and found The 7th Guest. I downloaded the patch, and finally was able to run the game; sound, visuals and all. But here's the catch: My cursor is LAGGING all over my screen! Little pyramids and skeleton hand and chattery teeth everywhere! It will cover the screen so that I can't even see to move and it's a miracle that I can make it back to the save screen. Does anyone else have this problem? Or am I missing something in the install that would make my screen and my cursor this naughty duo? I've searched all over the internet, and I cannot find anything about this particular topic. (Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope!) Mind you, the game works perfectly other than this. I'm running it on XP, and it's a brand new Toshiba laptop. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated... thanx!
