Need cheap CD Burner...suggestions

When I say cheap I mean in price, not in quality. Something under $100 is my target. I don't need it to be superfast either, as I use it for mostly data, so 8x is fine.

I can get a Philips or Sony 8x write/4x rewrite/32x read in my target.
I've also seen some Lite-On burners for pretty cheap too, but I'm not sure of the quality.
Plextor would be nice, but I don't have that money to spend, and this is an unexpected expense that I need a fix for.
I'll ask around at some shops too of course, but any suggestions or comments would be helpful.

Now I think I might be able to get a hold of a 12x/10x/32x burner by AOpen for under $100. Any thoughts?
I got an LG 12x8x32 for $119 cdn
its sweet, 8 megs of cache, and hey, it was a big step up from mitsumi 2x1x8

I may bite if I see that LG drive here--gotta be cheaper in the US, but I'm still trying to keep this as cheap as possible. I'm gonna look tommorrow, and I think that AOpen may be a good shot. I haven't seen any LG drives around town, and there are quite a few pc shops here too.

I have a Buslink/Lite On 12/10/32x CD burner for sale. It's about two months old and I only used it a few times. This is a pretty nice burner with Burn-Proof technology. I just got a 16/10/40 HP so I want to get rid of the Buslink. If anyone reading this thread is interested, I'll sell it for $80 + shipping.

I went with the Philips 8x burner. I don't need anything fancy, and once I mail in a rebate It'll cost me $40. Open box buy, and I've seen it run in other machines flawlessly.
Put one in a friends way back, I'm thinkin' a year ago possibly, still running, machine with 98 never reinstalled before.
I haven't heard anything about BusLink's quality, so I'll stick with companies I've seen on the market for awhile.
If you want to sell that burner, you might get a better shot at selling it over in buy, sell, trade section.

Lite-On is cheap and very good stuff. They are one of the biggest suppliers to OEMs. You can find their peripherals (CDs, Burners, LCD screens)packed with a lot of branded pcs.
They sell only a very small part of their production to end-users under their own brand.

The Lite-On is the same as a Sanyo drive and a very good choice. LG is rather dubious. Sony drives are great.
