Need for Speed High Stakes, Installing under WIN2K Pr.

I saw on the compatibility section that there's a trick to install the Need for Speed 4: High Stakes Demo. Does the same trick can be applied for Need for Speed 4: High Stakes under Windows 2000 Professional ? Has someone done this ? Is there any risks ?.

its there also.
there are also a few threads on it here.

I have tried to get it to run...but have not managed to do it.
But lots of people say they have followed advice and got it to run under win2kpro.

OP
I got it to run after installing
the SP2 and the Compatibility Mode that is part of the SP2 Support Tools.

I also partly applied the W2K Patch for NFSHS. I wrote partly because, if you follow all the instructions posted with this patch, it's not working.
