It finally runs on W2K thanks to QFIXAPP2.0!
I chose the Win98 Layer, didnt´t change the preselected fixes and started the linked nfs.exe! Yeeeeeeeeeeehaaaaaa!

I unchecked "emulate joystick", and could then calibrate and use my MS-wheel.
