Need for speed underground 2

PLEASE HELP! I have completed 50% of NFSU 2 and i am stuck, there are no races on the world map and i have been driving round looking for races but cant find any, what should i do?. Please Please help me if you can.

Do out runs or find caleb, also the game completion bar is bugged once you finish Caleb you should have access to all races again and all outruns.

it is a good game it gets boring though i like it
