How about VirtualDub?
ge 4's don't have video in on their cards? only video out.......
IIRC, the Ti4600's do, VIVO. 4200, 4400, are only video out.
i got a Ti 4600 - it says only video out on the svideo jack?
yea some of the 4600's have the dvi plug. just connect the dv camera
i just burned some vcd's from a trip. the whole system works nicely.
anyway microsoft has moviemaker thats free but limited and kinda lame... i havent seen a decent "free" one. if someone has please post the link.
ps what about the software that comes with the vid card? is that any good or is it just a "demo"?

VirtualDub is free. If that isn't 'good enough' you can download a 30 day eval copy of Adobe Premiere.
