Need software utility for parallel 2 IDE device
This is a discussion about Need software utility for parallel 2 IDE device in the Windows Software category; I'm looking for a software utility that will work with a parallel to IDE device. I found the correct drivers for the device and it was installed as SCM PPort HD adapter. The device is working normally under Win2000, but I can't access the HDD plugged into it.

Forgive me, is this an external HDD plugged in via parallel IDE card or an IDE ata controller card with internal ribbon cable?
