Need to recover NTFS partiiton. How?

A guy fdisked a drive(ntfs) and it turns out it has years of photos on it he would like to get back. How can I recover the partition? No data has been written to the disk since that time. Program suggestion to o it would be appreciated.

I've used norton disk doctor in the past for fat32, which worked great, but ive not tried it with NTFS.

it rules! and for the price it rules ttreust me!
 
i got about 25g of stuff back off an NTFS parition that windows said was not formated
 
 
it ahs a demo as well to see that it works.

Yes, I recommend this app as well, it recovered a lot of data from a blown RAID Zero array for me, one of the drives in the array was still faulty as well

Your luck will vary with this program, but it has been a LIFE SAVER for me. GetDataBack! Nice simple name, and available in 2 flavors. One for NTFS and one for FAT. Check it out here:

Try stellar phoenix you must try trial version first its cool and cheap too.

You can try Nucleus's NTFS recovery software, which is fast and reliable.
