Hi,
I have a Netgear DG834PN wireless router and a Netgear WPN111 wireless adaptor.
The Router is great - no problems. I installed the wireless adaptor some time ago on a machine upstairs. It wasn't all as straight forward as the instructions made out, but I managed it in any case - eventually!
The machine upstairs is very rarely used, so when I came to use it some months after, I was unable to connect to the internet. I uninstalled the software and the adaptor and reinstalled as per the instructions.
I now have 2 icons in the system tray which both suggest that you are good to go. There is an icon which looks like a computer screen in yellow, which when hovered over it says connected - signal low. The other icon is the windows network icon which also says it is connected and looking good.
The problem is that I can not get on the internet!! This is bugging me because everything is saying what it should, but it is not working!!
Anybody got any advice??
OS - Windows XP
Cheers.
