Netgear XM128 External ISDN adapter

This is a discussion about Netgear XM128 External ISDN adapter in the Windows Hardware category; Oi, They need to print on the side of the box, PoS. The thing works like a dream in win98 as advertised, and haven't tried it in NT. So, why wouldn't it work in 2k like most things do. ERRRR wrong. Indeed, it works, but the installation is a nightmare.

Oi, They need to print on the side of the box, PoS. The thing works like a dream in win98 as advertised, and haven't tried it in NT. So, why wouldn't it work in 2k like most things do. ERRRR wrong. Indeed, it works, but the installation is a nightmare. It installs as something other than a Netgear (Omni128) and in order for both channels to connect you have to do some major workarounds. Just wondering if anyone else is using one of these, and if you are give me some idea as to an easier way to get this thing installed.

Thanks.
