Why would anyone in their right mind use Netscape when much bettewr browsers such as Opera, Mozilla, and IE exist? I used to use Netscape before it became "bloatware" and if i get the urge to use it now i just go grab Mozilla from http://www.mozilla.org

You be the judge, i'd love to read other people's comments on the lawsuit. Read more about it here:

Last ditch effort to beat MS: sue the hell outta them.
What gets me is all these lawsuits don't seem to have to do with screwing the consumer over at all, just "screwing" another company because MS puts out a better product. Nutscrape sucks!

It's just pathetic how people can't seem to get the concept of 'competition'. I'm not saying MS hasn't done anything to hurt anyone, but these lawsuits are barking up the wrong tree so to speak.

Motto of the industry: If you can't beat 'em, sue 'em.

The thing that all of the Netscape proponents seem to have forgotten is that Netscape's market share was not drastically affected until they started charging $80 for their cruddy browser.

What happened to competition?

Oh, wait, since MS is making so much money, they surely must be an evil corporation and therefore must be punished by suing their @SS off. NS is owned by AOL...possibly why it sucks:p
