Hello there!

I have replaced my old Network Card and since then the new one uses IRQ 9 - PNP assigned it and now my computer works extremely slow when I am transfering long files... By this and some other reasons I need to change IRQ for this Network Card - How do I do that? In Device Manager's card properties there is everything grayed - so where can I change it?

Thanks,
-Andrej

You cannot change PCI device IRQs in 2K or XP. You will have to move the NIC to another slot or try to set assignments in the bios if that option is available.

Lower the Nic to PCI 4 or 5. Most devices like sound cars and Nics like those lower slots.

You could also try assining an irq to a pci slot in the bios. Not sure wheter 2k or xp overrides that.
