Network'd Printers...
This is a discussion about Network'd Printers... in the Windows Hardware category; In Windows XP on my PC I am using a networked printer on my girlfrieds Windows ME Machine. If I try and load up certain apps (ie Word and Photoshop 6) when her PC is switched off it crashes and does that report to Microsoft crap.

I solved the problem by making another printer the default one and then switching to the network one when I print.
Also the way that we connect our PC's isnt normal. We use a twisted cable where the wires a crossed at one end so we dont need a hub. This works OK, so I dont think its anything to do with that.
Has anyone else had a problem similar on their PC?
