Networking mouse problems

This is a discussion about Networking mouse problems in the Windows Hardware category; I have a Linksys LNE100TX NIC. I'm running Win2k and installed the latest drivers off the linksys site for win2k. However, when I startup win2k and then try to access the interent (via Internet explorer, AOLIM, ICQ, etc) it goes for a minute or so then stops, the connection drops and my mouse slows down too.
