Hi,
Jimmijo,
Don't you just love how it won't let you delete a post once you've started one?
Cheers,

I hadn't realized this. Could it be due to the board software and/or setting perhaps ;(

I was thinking for just you own post that you created, say a time limit of 30 mins or so for deletion. Why clutter up the forum if you didn't really want to post what ever it was you now want to delete

It is. There is a setting in phpBB to restrict access/options to selected users/groups.

Hi Guys,
It seems logical to me that if no-one has yet replied to your post you ought to be able to delete it.

I agree, but in the current version of phpBB, the permissions can only be set to either completely allow or disallow topic deletion.
