New CD roms not reading XP boot disk
I have two cd roms that won't read my xp boot disk. I can pop it in my laptop and it boots right off it with no problems. Why won't my two other new (2 months old) desktop cd roms boot from this disk? anyone know?.

Need to go into bios and set the boot order so CD boots before hard drive does.
Trust me i've tried everything from bios to unplugging everything execpt my cd and it still won't read a boot disk.

what kinda disk is it are you re loading xp back onto it or is it just a program disk??
