What's the problem with the game?

You probably don't need the ACT, if the game say's that it requires Windows 9x then simply create a shortcut to the game executable, right-click on the shortcut, go to properties and choose "Win95 compatibility mode" then run the game.

The problem is when I go to install it, it says not NT compatible, then stops the install.

Anyone? Please?

Or should I install 98se as a dual boot? (which I would rather not do.

Create a shortcut to the install executable, right-click on the shortcut, go to properties and choose "Win95/98/Me compatibility mode" then try to run it.

Nah, The ACT has nothing to do with it. The ACT just allows you to add more to the compatibility database. It doesn't actually add the capability to the OS. The capability is already there.

From the Run command type in : regsvr32 c:\winnt\apppatch\slayerui.dll

That will enable compatibily mode only on SHORTCUTS. So whenever you need to apply compatibility mode remember to create a shortcut.

Unfortunately I don't have the game so can't test it myself. If you feel comfortable playing around with Installshield editors to remove the OS requirement then that is what I would or, or look for an installshield extractor that will unpack file files.....

Wait a sec...There's an APCOMPAT tool in the SUPPORT directory on your 2000 CD. Try that.

Actually, it works now. I know everyone has said it is impossible, but I was just flying the sim on win2k.

I tried the compatibility on the shortcut for the game, but it crashed, and didnt work, i then turn the compatibility off and ran the patch (which doesnt fix anything for 2k). and the program ran fine.

Thanks for all of your help.
