[ADSL Modem]
|
[Router/Switch]--|-Port1 PC1(Win98)
|-Port2 PC2(Win98)
|-Port3 PC3(WinXP)
|-Port4 [10mbps hub]--|-Uplink Port
|-Port1 PC4(Win95)
|-Port2 PC5(Win98)

Ok, the problem is with PC1, It can only ping/browse PC2 & PC3. PC1 shows up in network neighborhood on PC4 & PC5 but cannot ping/browse. With the exception of PC1, the rest of the network is working fine. I have checked the network settings and everything 'appears' normal, so I'm basically stumped at the moment.

OP
it was starting to drive me crazy until i checked the ports on the router, seems that the port it was in didn't like the hub, plugged it into a different port and everything is back to normal.
