I know that the C and E models are different revisions....id go with the E model since it seems to be the most updated.

OP
Sure enough, after I give in and post, I finally find some answers shortly after...

-C uses the nvidia 415 chipset, not the 420. Which simply means, no onboard graphics card. (to lower mobo price for those who won't use on board video)

-E I'm still not sure about.
HardOCP's review had this to say: "Asus has decided to go with on-chip LAN, and has mounted the socket on top of the USB ports. That is where we get the '-E' at the end of A7N266-E." But all 3 boards have LAN controllers. Maybe the other two have a different mount for the jack or something.

I thought I read somewhere that the -E board had some improvement/option dealing with audio. But maybe that was another board.

Can anyone clarify any of this?

Has anyone actually had any experience with an nForce motherboard, good or bad? I'm looking at getting an Athlon XP, and the nForce looks promising to me. I simply refuse to buy Via, as I want stability and speed in that order. Every review of an nForce motherboard I've seen only focused on its speed, and how it is slower than the K266. It seems that none of the review sites (that I've found, anyway) give a hoot about stability. So if anyone has had any first hand experience with an nForce motherboard, I'd love to hear about it.

Ive got 1 running a duron 850 (at stock speed). Its easily a match for my Intel P4 system with Intel chipset stability wise. Dont think ive had 1 single problem with it.

Thats on an Abit NV7M.
