NFS 1 SE / WIN XP :-(

I have problems, need for speed 1 under win xp to run to wars normally thought I, it functioned simply not, since it is already so old however here in this compatibility-listed has itself people registered, at which it folded with the help of the compatibility mode. I get that however not possibly also, because everything is in english. back to the topic: to install I know the game sometimes break off it immediately and I land back on desktop and sometimes bring he the following error message (see picture).

someone can help me? I actually now already searched the complete InterNet, but it does not give assistance so quite anywhere. here is someone, which can help me? thanks!

p.s.: I decided in addition, mean text with speak tools of google translate to let simple thereby hear myself it very badly on for english speaking humans, but still better, than mine blabla.. ;-)

no idea? is my english (btw: the english from google.. ) so bad, so you don´t understand, what i mean?

The compatibility lists say that it doesn't work on WinXP, it actually doesn't look like it works on anything past Win 95/98.
