NFS3 TCPIP network not working on Win2k SP2

This is a discussion about NFS3 TCPIP network not working on Win2k SP2 in the Windows Games category; Hi, I've been running NFS3 on Win2k Pro flawlessly for some time now. This weekend I made my first attempt to do TCPIP based network play, when I select TCPIP then either Join or Host, the window simply disappears and gives no option to enter in the IP info, etc.

Hi, I've been running NFS3 on Win2k Pro flawlessly for some time now. This weekend I made my first attempt to do TCPIP based network play, when I select TCPIP then either Join or Host, the window simply disappears and gives no option to enter in the IP info, etc.
I also noticed that the ip.exe program wil give an unable to open HKEY_DYN_DATA error if run, then crashes.
Any idea how I can get around this error?

Thanks!

I could never get TCP/IP with NFS 3 under Windows 2000 either, it just probably doesn't pick up the network settings correctly.
