NHL 2003 and WMP 9
This is a discussion about NHL 2003 and WMP 9 in the Windows Games category; if anyone has tried running NHL 2003 with WMP 9 installed, i'm sure you've noticed that it won't work. when you open the program, the media player interface will load and stay there. don't fear, there's a simple fix.

Go to the start menu and select Run. Then type the following in, minus the quotations, and press enter:
"REGSVR32 msdxm.ocx"
and you should be able to run it without problems.

Tried it and it didn't work any better for me than before... besides seeing the initial 03 screen in part of my monitor (with Iginla on the side).
After seeing it the first time it still went back to the media player viewer and to actually end the program I still have to put it my computer to sleep, and come out - and every 2 or 3 times it goes back to normal screen size for me to be able to click okay to end the program... haha
Crazy Vista... if you have any other ideas I'm all ears. I have NHL 07, and if necessary (and it will work on vista) can always retire 03 and play on that.
Thanks,
Jay
