NIC card suggestions
This is a discussion about NIC card suggestions in the Windows Networking category; I am in the market for a new NIC. I am thinking Linksys LNE100TX, its fairly cheap and has good performance, also a Netgear FA311, anybody have good or bad opinions on these? What about a Cicero? BTW, the card must work with all versions of Windows.

I always stick with 3Com, i have never had one fail and they are not that expensive.
Intel Pro/100 Management Adapters, and now the ones with IPSEC handled in hardware (designated with an "S").
Hmmm...depends on what you're planning on hooking it up to - certain hubs and other NICs don't like talking to certain other networking kit - I think NetGear are the worst affected though!

I may use it for my @Home service as my USB one is getting in the way. I may also use it to network my PC with my old PC which runs WIndows 95. I came across some other brands like D-Link and Belkin, any thoughts on these?
Strangely enough i have some of both those cards that you mentioned. The linksys and the netgear. The netgear had trouble in my via system but apart from that they are exactly the same really, authough i prefer the linksys. Either would be fine really.
3 com hands down, you can get one for 25 bucks now
OP
I bought the Belkin, and it runs great. Thanks for all the feedback.
