Nice article on using Linux as a router
Over here: They have a nice write up on using a floppy distro of Linux as a router/NAT system. I haven't fiddled with it, but it seems pretty nice (maybe similar to Smoothwall?). .

I also ran L.O.A.F. for a while (Linux on a floppy) and it was pretty lame. Just warning some ppl out there, unless the LOAF ppl have updated thier code (I doubt if they are even still around)
