No DVD

This is a discussion about No DVD in the Windows Hardware category; I inserted a DVD and got a window that there's no audio and that 'dvdplay' wasn't working. The hardware (Hitachi DVD-ROM GD-S250) is working. How do I fix this? Can I download the DVDPLay program from somewhere?.
