It don't affect me... i get all the pre-release mp3z i want from private ftps... the rest i get from IRC.

try MusicCity - it's a private network of servers compatible with the napster software. Plus their servers are interlinked, so you see ALL the songs on their network...

Oh yeah, I'm not saying there's not a million other ways to get mp3s, cuz there are.
 
I was just very concerned about the ruling and the implications it has on the future of similar businesses. I think that it will spawn a wave of rebellion from computer genious mp3 lovers, and we will see a whole new wave of software used for purposes like napster. Heck, we're already seeing them: CuteMX, iMesh, MusicCity, it's never gonna end, I just thought the ruling was interesting because it's the first ruling of its kind. We'll see what happens!!

yea, saying that you'll have to pay for downloads and crap, i'm not giving a penny when i can get them elsewhere. I love Napster, but i ain't payin'

It will hurt us all in a way but there is still audio ripper programs and so on and so forth
