I have a problem in as much as i dont seem to have access to safe mode anymore since installing norton system works 2005 and reinstalling xp service pack 2, to cap it off i dont seem to have access to my main administartor signon - this may be due to not having access to safe mode.

i havent changed the password at all either.

I run xp home edition sp2.

Any ideas or feed back welcome, please help.

thanks in advance

if you are in search of resetting your admin password ... use this http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/bootdisk.html

If you feel that the safe boot option has been corrupted, you can always add switches to your boot.ini to force a safe mode boot using msconfig.exe (under the boot.ini tab)
