No Security Tab for files

This is a discussion about No Security Tab for files in the Windows Software category; When i right click on a file there isnt a security tab like there was in win2k. Anyone know how to get this to come up or where to change the permissions users have on files?.

IDE drive listed as SCSI drive, can't access

Control Panel/Folder Options/View, then under the advanced settings, uncheck 'Use Simple file sharing'.
