No Sound Device

This is a discussion about No Sound Device in the Windows Hardware category; well I just formatted my computer I had win XP home edition ( it came with it ) but i installed WinXp SP2 well! something happend to my sound device it's not working now i had realtek b4! *I THINK!!* so i tryed installing new version of it! it still not working!!! soo HELP :'( I duno if this is any help but it's an ...

Usually you can go to Windows Update and it will download the driver for you. If not you can just go to the manufacturer of your laptop's website and download the drivers.

Let DosFreak know exactly where you downloaded the driver from and what version you downloaded (eg, Audio Driver 5.10.0.5027.exe).
 
Did you check the volume settings in Windows to make sure that the volume was turned up?
