HI

I am total newbie to this site so please be gentle.
I have got Lemmings revolution and it states on the box XP compatible.
When I try to install it I get this

ComponentMoveData had the following error

Media name: data
Component: Program files
File group: Program Executable Files
File:
Error Number: -145 (refer to online help)

The game will play but it has no sound, most annoying. I can’t find a link on any searches for a patch of any description. It wouldn’t be so bad but I bought Lemming and then found out that wasn’t compatible with XP.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Jeff

-145: Target folder cannot be found.
Where are you trying to install this? Like: C:/Program Files/Lemmings ?
Try installing, for example, to C:/Lemmings/.
Do not use spaces on the folder names and do not exceed 8 characters on folder names.

If it does not help, then try these:

1)

Quote:This may occur due to a conflict with other programs running in the background. It is strongly recommended that all other programs be subsequently closed down prior to attempting installation. In addition to this, please ensure that all virus scanners, schedulers and crash guards are disabled.

2) Try installing it in safe mode.

3) Try this, even this is for different error:

Now for the solution:
1. Using your favorite unzip program (I used WinZip 8.0), unzip the file* contents to a directory on your hard drive.
2. Double click on the Setup.exe file located in that directory.

* Setup.exe, install.exe, etc.
