Norton Antivirus
This is a discussion about Norton Antivirus in the Windows Software category; I installed then unistalled NAV. I then installed AvastAntivirus now it's telling me it can't its services because NAV is already running. I check the startup folder, services, deleted NAV folder, emptied the recycle bin and restarted.
I installed then unistalled NAV. I then installed AvastAntivirus now it's telling me it can't its services because NAV is already running. I check the startup folder, services, deleted NAV folder, emptied the recycle bin and restarted. Bing! The shit still tells me NAV is installed!
I don't know where else to look. Help!

Can you reinstall Norton Antivirus and then try another uninstallation?
Also, if you're running 2000/XP check your services.msc to see if there is a NAV service still installed/running. If so, disable the service.
