Norton Ghost
This is a discussion about Norton Ghost in the Everything New Technology category; Can anyone help?I'm trying to understand why when I create a ghost image of a Windows Xp partition the Size (even with max compression) of the image is about 1 gig larger than the actuall contents of the partition(I right click on the contents of all folders and select properties and it says about 1.
Can anyone help?I'm trying to understand why when I create a ghost image of a Windows Xp partition the Size (even with max compression) of the image is about 1 gig larger than the actuall contents of the partition(I right click on the contents of all folders and select properties and it says about 1.34 gig when I right click properties on the c drive in my comp. it says about 3.6 gig used space).I've UNhid all hidden system files and folders.I'm mystified ;(

Well I think I figured it out.I turned off system resore on My C drive and now when I right click properties on the C drive I now have the correct drive space .I cant believe it was storing that much data!
