Hi Folks,

I have the following problem: I have a notebook with just one bay so I can use either! a floppy or cdrom drive. I used a win98 start disk and fdisk to clean my HD, made 2 partitions and formatted them. So when I turn on the notebook I get the message "no system found"

When I use the four Win2K setup disks there comes the point where I need to insert the CD - not possible because I used the Floppy before and the CD-Drive is not recognized and thats it!

When I try to use the win98 start disk I have to choose if I would like to load with CD-Drive support or not - when I click yes the system doesn´t find a CD-Drive (because in the bay there is the Floppy-Drive) and doesn´t install CD-Drivers!

So please how can I solve this problem?! I am getting nuts here, period! Thanks in advance - Tom

Hi Three !

Yes it does the only real trick was that I had to pess 2 times the space bar even the screen said "no disk found" - no idea why that happens but know it works - thanks again Tom
