Notebook only works on AC power

This is a discussion about Notebook only works on AC power in the Windows Hardware category; My Evo N620C shuts down immediately after pulling out the power cord. The battery is fully charged, and the same battery works just fine in my second unit. I completely disassembled the machine, and found nothing loose etc.

My Evo N620C shuts down immediately after pulling out the power cord.
The battery is fully charged, and the same battery works just fine in my second unit.
I completely disassembled the machine, and found nothing loose etc.
When reassembled, it again shut down when unplugged from the AC power.

You said you tried the battery on the second unit and it worked fine. Did you try the battery from the second unit on the unit in question? If a second battery does the same thing, there may be an issue where it is not reading the battery. Check the connections from the battery to the notebook.
