Now I'm having trouble with HL
This is a discussion about Now I'm having trouble with HL in the Windows Games category; I've searched here and can't quite find the answer to my problem. This is a fresh format and clean install of Win2k. I have a Voodoo 3 3000 AGP with the 1. 03 drivers (1. 04 on 3dfx site) and HL with patch 1.
I've searched here and can't quite find the answer to my problem.
This is a fresh format and clean install of Win2k.
I have a Voodoo 3 3000 AGP with the 1.03 drivers (1.04 on 3dfx site) and HL with patch 1.0.0.6 and HL: OpFor and BS installed. The patch is off the BS CD.
Every time I go to play HL it drops back out to the desktop. No errors or anything.
I also have DirectX 8.0 installed, if that's any help.
