NT workstation with XP pro
This is a discussion about NT workstation with XP pro in the Windows Networking category; Have NT and XP pro in same workgroup. Cant browse Neighbourhood from either Can ping from NT to XP but not XP to NT Can see NT from XP but cannot open Have set the serverlist to no on NT Worked once but since has failed.

Simply put
Browsing = Unreliable
Go with drive mappings, UNC connections, etc
Jerry is right ... apk, clutch, and I have gone over this inside and out; so search the forums.

the ping is strange. Ping shoud always work unless you have policies stopping ping from the Nt box.....
