NTFS Question

running XP/SP2 fat32 on 32Gig partition of 250G hd. in order to utilize the full size of the hard drive is it possible to partition the remainder of the hard drive NTSF as an extended logical drive? if so, how? and, will the fat32 software work on that partition if i do partition the remainder NTFS? thanks for any ...

Yes, you can use both FA32 and NTFS on the same hard drive. As long as they are different partitions.
 
The only software that that is designed for FAT32 and will not work on NTFS is lower level HD stuff like pre-windows NT4 defragmentation software that was not designed for NTFS.
